I guess Four Square wasn't a big game in Hawaii. Josh and Morgan both didn't know what it was. I wonder if Sean knows. Anyway, there's a link above... at foursquare dot org. It's a super fun game played with playground ball and one person in each square. The squares are numbered 1 to 4 and the object is to get into square one and stay there as long as possible. The ball is bounced and hit to a square not your own. If it hits the line or goes out of bounds, you're out and you move to the fourth square. The person in the first square serves always so they have an advantage. They can also call out weird rules at the start of each round (like double bounce or duel or glass ball which is no bouncing). We don't keep score.

I remember playing in grade school and then a couple of months ago we played it at Pack Meeting. (I got a little competitive and would love to take Josh down on an indoor court.) And then I read that Four Square could be used to teach kids who learn by doing--yelling out the answers to math problems while hitting the ball.

Will work on another update to put up this week.
