Ok, Brooke, you're going to kick yourself when you finally read it and find that you're head over heels in love and you're going to wish vampires were real.

Nancy, The Host did not give me the butterflies that Twilight did, but it was still a really good book. I even read through an episode of Lost without caring. (I can still go back and watch it anyway since we tivo'd it.) I think SM did a good job of creating likeable characters without cookie cutter-ing the Twilight characters. They are totally different people in another creative take on the situation they live in. She changed the way we look at vampires and now she will change the way we look at aliens.

Soooo..... I saw the Host at Wal-Mart and I was wondering how good it was. Is it as good as Twilight? Were you as into it as the Twilight series? If it's that good than I'll read it. But if it doesn't measure up than I think I'll skip it.

Let me know

I've had Twilight sitting on my nightstand waiting to be read for months and months. I just have so many books waiting, I haven't gotten to it until yesterday. But I'm already into it. So when I'm done with the series, I'll have to go get The Host. Thanks
